Join me while I make Pink Oyster Mushroom 'Lobster' Rolls, a raw broccoli salad & Brazil nut balls while having a brief conversation about these super foods and how they can enhance the brain with my comedian friends Mark Curry & Finesse Mitchell. Want more info on edible mushrooms or to grow your own? Here are two websites I found useful: www.Northspore.com www.fungivalley.com I can’t believe it’s finally here. I have been working so hard to get this out to you. Life has a way of dictating your time line at times. When I’m not on tour. I love to cook! So I appreciate your patience. I also do a lot of the post work on the show. I'm slow. Because some things are new to me. I have a team not huge but a team that I am extremely grateful to have. Together we have made this cooking show not only special but beautiful and meaningful in so many ways. Ashley Eberbach & Shira Levine. And the entire crew. I truly thank you. This is our third L.G.T.C Ep together. Each time I get me more and more excited to my dream of one day being able to shoot several episodes back to back and getting this show on the road on a network or take off on my own channel here on Youtube. I’ll get there! I’m so proud of the work that we have been producing together. I am so proud that myself & my friend Scotty’s dream of one day of me realizing and ultimately creating this cooking show would make its way from our imaginations to real life. That is beautiful to me to say the least. I am forever grateful for the entire team that helped me make these 3 episodes so far. They embody such a wonderful and beautiful experience overall. Thank you. Love to you all & Let’s Get To Cookin! xo, LaTina
Did you know whether you can afford good quality fruit & produce or not, the effects of global warming puts us all at risk in losing our necessity to access fresh fruits and vegetables? EVERYONE deserves freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. Global warming is wreaking havoc on our environment and is starting to show the signs of affecting us now and will continue to damage our crops and soil from extreme weather patterns to sudden climate fluctuations. The list goes on. We can’t wait for someone to swoop in and save us. We ALL have to take part in healing our environment. ! If we all do a little, we all benefit a lot! Now and well into our children’s future. Something to think about.
I made Let’s Get To Cookin to inform, inspire and to motivate. Help people see the possibilities of making new recipes in their kitchens that are delicious, easy & healthy for your mind, body and spirits along with being kinder to the environment. Maybe you’ll try a little something new from my home kitchen.
Let’s Get To Cookin Ep 2 -Plan(e)tClassics - Classic plant based meals we love ❤ Eating a plant based meal a few times a week can have a massively positive impact on our environment and is great for your gut health. Small acts of care in our kitchens can hugely impact our earth for the better, years to come. In Ep. 2 I share plant based meal options for you and your growing families. Busy families looking for ideas for meals that will hit the spot for you and your little ones all in one. One meal, same ingredients. Who doesn’t love a good burger? How about a vegan beet burger that will give you energy and fill you up. Easy on the pocket and on the hips. Satisfying to say the least. Learn how to make this gem of a recipe I found. They are so good, you are going to want to include them into your weekly meal rotation. Along with these amazing burgers, I share with you how to make the fewer carb and healthier alternative to the classic french fries, Japanese sweet potato and parsnip shoe string fries! Parsnips are the ‘healthy man’s potato’. Dig into a parsnip nectarine and beet puree and a pea soup that the entire family can enjoy. Using parsnips and beets two ways for you and your little ones proves how you can be effective, intentional and resourceful in your kitchen. Small tips to contribute reducing our carbon imprints and help us to be a little more kinder to our mother earth. It’s Our Earth! And she needs us. Every little step we take is a step closer at preserving our existing environment. Eating our way to a stronger more sustainable world.
Completely vegan burgers, use lettuce for your buns and for my ‘seekers’ of something a little more, make buns with me! Using cassava flour! Find my Bun recipe right here on my youtube channel and website LetsGetToCookin.la Super delicious crusty french buns.
Come join me, while meeting a few of my friends. Plan(e)tClassics welcomes guest trumpeter, composer & activist Keyon Harrold & singer songwriter Chanté Moore. Also environmental expert, Eileen Moran joins us to share her thoughts about our impact on our world along with great info to ponder and grow on including tips for your home kitchen. Also meet my friends single father Jerome Roux and his adorable baby Phoenix. What can you make that is healthy, quick and easy for your kiddos? Even better what can you make that uses the same ingredients for you and for your babies. Well I have some ideas to share just for you, sooo Let’s Get To Cookin!
Hi, I’m LaTina Webb. I live, I love, I write, I sing. I have sung background for some of your favorite artists. When I’m not on tour, I love to cook in my cozy little Laurel Canyon kitchen with my husband, Justin, & my dog, Lucque. For each episode, I will be sharing with you healthy options for some familiar recipes. Together with friends, family, and the local community, we will explore some of my favorite LA finds — and experience some new things as well! I’m all about creating beautiful delicious foods for every family member to enjoy. It’s a little something for everyone, all wrapped up into one multicultural American Pie! My hope is that you will enjoy some of what I share and try adding a little dash here and there to your home cooking.
